i've known joe for quite some time.. and this just isn't right. he just wouldn't disappear.. miss shows, etc.. my biggest fear is that he can't contact anyone.. so, please, please read and pass this info and his pics on.. we want to all bring joe home to us safe and sound!!
the search did accomplish a few things. it possibly uncovered some indications of joe and/or others being in the area. a passerby did stop to volunteer some info - joe was possibly seen getting into two different vehicles during the day that day, this person gave a good description of both vehicles.. the police are following up on that information. we can be reasonably sure that he is not in the area where his vehicle was found. flyers were placed in businesses in the area. a lot of people won't be back to work until monday, so hopefully some more details will emerge.
this is getting really creepy.. and extremely frustrating. it's been ten days now.. i pray that he's alright.. but my gut is telling me a different story. (i pray my gut feeling is totally wrong.) please, everyone, no matter where you live, please keep an eye out for joe. the mystery itself is horrific.. and we haven't the slightest idea if he's still in the area.. or anything at all for that matter.. he pretty much just vanished on the 20th of november. i can't sleep.. everytime i close my eyes i get horrible images that i don't want to imagine of what he might be going through, or might have gone through in the time that's past. it's been a long, long time since i've prayed so hard for anything.. but he well deserves all the thoughts and prayers that can be behind him right now. luckily the television stations are giving some media on the situation and popping his picture up on the news.. and the newspapers are doing the same, but that just doesn't feel like enough. i feel helpless, and i want to be able to do so much more for him right now.
